Content Standards

• Community Support: Encouraging and helping fellow young people

❌ What We Don't Allow

• Hate Speech: Content that attacks, threatens, or incites violence against individuals or groups
• Harassment: Bullying, intimidation, or persistent unwanted attention
• Discrimination: Content that promotes discrimination based on race, gender, religion, caste, or other protected characteristics
• Violence: Graphic violence, threats of violence, or content that glorifies harm
• Explicit Content: Sexual content, nudity, or inappropriate material
• False Information: Misinformation, fake news, or deliberately misleading content
• Spam: Repetitive, irrelevant, or promotional content
• Personal Attacks: Insults, name-calling, or personal attacks on individuals
• Illegal Content: Content that violates laws or promotes illegal activities
• Privacy Violations: Sharing personal information of others without consent

Platform-Specific Guidelines

📹 Video Upload Guidelines

• Videos should be relevant to youth issues, community topics, or educational content
• Ensure you have permission to use any music, images, or other content in your videos
• Keep videos appropriate for a general audience
• Include clear, descriptive titles and descriptions
• Respect copyright and intellectual property rights

📊 Poll Participation

• Vote honestly and thoughtfully on poll questions
• Suggest poll topics that are relevant and constructive
• Respect the results and opinions of others
• Use polls as a tool for understanding community perspectives

📧 Email Subscriptions

• Only subscribe with your own email address
• Use accurate email addresses for notifications
• Respect the purpose of each subscription (Stories, Events, Polls)
• Unsubscribe if you no longer wish to receive notifications

🚫 What to Avoid

• Interrupting or talking over others
• Making assumptions about others' intentions or beliefs
• Using inflammatory or provocative language
• Dismissing others' experiences or feelings
• Engaging in personal attacks or character assassination
• Spreading rumors or unverified information
• Dominating conversations or not allowing others to participate

Reporting and Enforcement

📢 How to Report Violations

If you encounter content or behavior that violates our guidelines, please report it immediately:

• Use the report button on any content or user profile
• Email us at: reports@youthsofnepal.com
• Include specific details about the violation
• Provide links or screenshots when possible

⚖️ Enforcement Actions

We take violations seriously and may take the following actions:

• Warning: First-time minor violations may result in a warning
• Content Removal: Inappropriate content will be removed immediately
• Temporary Suspension: Repeated violations may result in temporary account suspension
• Permanent Ban: Severe or repeated violations may result in permanent account termination
• Legal Action: In extreme cases, we may pursue legal action

Appeals Process

If you believe an enforcement action was taken in error, you may appeal:

• Submit an appeal within 30 days of the action
• Email: appeals@youthsofnepal.com
• Provide evidence supporting your case
• Be respectful and constructive in your appeal

• Language: While English is welcome, Nepali and other local languages are encouraged
